I graduated with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 2009. I was commissioned in the US Navy the same year where I served aboard USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), in Yokosuka, Japan as the Electronic Warfare Officer. In 2011, I became an Engineering Duty Officer and began working as a Project Manager at the Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center. I transitioned to the US Navy Reserves in 2015 when I began graduate school.
I am a graduate student pursuing a PhD in ECE at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am a member of the Multimedia and Sensors Lab (MSL) under the advisement of Dr. Ghassan AlRegib. My research concerns the advancement of deep learning frameworks toward complete interpretability.
